When a person is arrested for soliciting a profile, anyone who knew about the profile and failed to report it may have committed a felony for allowing it to remain online. This applies to anyone, regardless of gender. The statute of limitations for arresting these individuals who neglected to report the profile is three years.
In 2012, Florida enacted the Sandusky Law that made it mandatory for all citizens to report.
